Healthy Person or Swastha Definition:
Acharya Sushruta mentioned very beautifully in his words“Samadoshah Samagnishca Samadhatumala Kriyah |Prasannatmendriyamanah Swastha Ityabhidhiyate”.
Which conveys, Only that person is in health, whose doshas (Vata-Pitta & Kapha),dhatus (Sapta Dhatu-Ras {(Plasma), Rakta(Blood), Mamsa(Muscles), Meda(Fat), Asthi(Bones), Majja(Marrow) and Shukra (Sperm and Ovum}, Malas{Vikrut Kapha(e.g.Sputum), Vikrut Pitta(e.g. Bilirubin and Biliverdin), Ear Wax, Eye discharges, Nasal discharges, Oral debris, Sebum, Sweat, Body Hairs, Nails, sebaceous secretions etc} and Agnis (Pancha bhutagni, Sapta dhatwagni, one Jathragni) are in balance and free from all defects and disorders and whose Atma (soul), Indriya {(Five Sense organs; Sight, hearing power, Smelling Power, Taste buds and Touch senses plus five karma indrya-Hasta(Hands), Pada (Feet), Jihwa(Tongue-speech muscles), Upastha (Gonads) and Payu(Anus)} and Mana (Mind) are in perfect harmony.
